Andy Crook

specialises in teaching psychophysical acting. His work explores the presence of the actor and their engagement with space, with time and with others. He presents actors with new possibilities that allow them to make positive decisions and powerful connections. Movement, physicality and play are at the heart of Andy's work helping actors develop a strong sense of ensemble and increasing their ability to listen and to respond. This means that they are truly present and fully engaged.

Andy is presently Physical Theatre tutor at The Lir Academy, Dublin.

“Andy is a generous and excellent teacher always able to draw out students in his coaching. I can't say enough about how great it is to work with Andy.” - Phillip Zarrilli, Artistic Director - The Llanarth Group, Author of “Psychophysical Acting” (Routledge)
